Workshop Session Description
"Leveled Up Learning: Using Game Design for Engagement and Comprehension"
When you ask a student what their favorite project to work on in school is, "my research paper" is probably not the answer you'll get. Utilizing game design concepts and the Google Suite for Education, I have transformed our middle school research curriculum into an epic space battle to defeat the Luddites.

Participants in this workshop will leave with ideas to begin their gamification journey, resources for further research, and an understanding of how technology can make the teaching process easier and the learning process more fun.
